Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plant Manager role based in Shamli. The Plant Manager will oversee day-to-day plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to meet quality, safety, and delivery targets. This role will be responsible for supervising and developing plant teams, monitoring equipment performance, resolving operational issues, and coordinating maintenance to reduce downtime. The Plant Manager will implement and maintain manufacturing standards, including safety protocols, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives such as lean or 5S activities. The role will also involve managing budgets, tracking key performance indicators, collaborating with leadership on capacity planning, and supporting customer requirements related to precision injection molding.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in plant or production management within manufacturing, preferably in injection molding or related plastics, automotive, or electrical components environments.
  • Proficiency in production planning, workflow optimization, and capacity management, with the ability to meet quality, volume, and on-time delivery goals.
  • Demonstrated skills in people leadership, including team supervision, performance management, training, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO, automotive quality requirements), with the ability to monitor, maintain, and improve product quality.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., lean manufacturing, 5S, root cause analysis, Kaizen) to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Ability to manage plant budgets, control costs, and analyze operational data to drive decisions based on key performance indicators.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the capacity to respond quickly to production issues and operational risks.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing software or ERP systems for tracking production, materials, and inventory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience managing a mid- to large-sized plant or production unit, including responsibility for safety, quality, and output
