Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plant Maintenance and Electrician role based in Sonipat. The role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the manufacturing of vitrified grinding wheels and whitener stones. Daily tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime of production lines. The Plant Maintenance and Electrician will work closely with the production team to support safe operations, comply with relevant standards, and document maintenance activities. The role also includes monitoring power usage, assisting in installation of new equipment, and responding promptly to breakdowns.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and practical knowledge of Electricity for industrial equipment.
• Experience in Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair of plant machinery and electrical systems.
• Ability to plan and execute Preventive Maintenance to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
• Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on experience in an industrial or manufacturing plant environment, preferably heavy machinery.
• Understanding of safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and use of appropriate PPE.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, use diagnostic tools, and maintain clear maintenance records.
• Good communication skills, reliability, and ability to work in shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
