Job Title: Planning Engineer

Experience: 5 - 8 Years

Location: Gopalan Enterprises

Job Type: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

 Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.

 Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress and

update schedules.

 Monitor project timelines, critical paths, and resource allocations to ensure timely

completion.

 Prepare and Analyze look-ahead schedules and identify potential risks.

 Generate progress reports, S-curves, histograms, and dashboards for management

review.

 Ensure project planning aligns with contractual milestones and client requirements.

 Assist in delay analysis and extension of time (EOT) claims.

 Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for material and resource planning.

 Implement best practices in project planning and scheduling methodologies.

 Participate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights and recommendations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

 Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.

 Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and cost control.

 Knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and resource allocation.

 Familiarity with project management principles and contract administration.

 Ability to Analyze and interpret project data for decision-making.

 Excellent communication and coordination skills.

 Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

 Relevant certifications in project planning (Primavera, PMP, etc.) are a plus.

 Experience in [construction/infrastructure/oil & gas/power] projects preferred.
