Job Title: Senior Placement & Corporate Relations Professional
Location: Jalandhar, Punjab

Role Overview
Lovely Professional University is seeking a seasoned and result-oriented professional to lead and strengthen its Placement & Corporate Relations function. The role requires deep industry connections, strategic thinking, and proven expertise in driving campus placements across diverse disciplines. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in enhancing employer engagement, student employability, and institutional brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with top corporates across industries.
- Identify and onboard new recruiters for campus hiring.
- Act as a key interface between the university and industry partners.
- Organize corporate visits, leadership talks, and networking forums.
2. Campus Placement Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement comprehensive placement strategies to achieve placement targets.
- Lead end-to-end campus recruitment processes (PPTs, assessments, interviews, offer rollouts).
- Ensure high-quality job opportunities for students across programs.
- Monitor and improve placement outcomes (CTC, diversity of roles, recruiter base).
3. Industry Interface & Partnerships
- Establish strategic alliances with organizations for internships, live projects, and placements.
- Collaborate with academic teams to align curriculum with industry requirements.
- Facilitate MoUs, industry tie-ups, and knowledge exchange initiatives.
4. Student Readiness & Employability
- Drive initiatives for enhancing student employability (mock interviews, soft skills training, resume building).
- Work closely with training teams to bridge skill gaps.
- Mentor students on career pathways and industry expectations.
5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and manage placement teams across multiple schools/departments.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (faculty, leadership, training teams).
- Ensure smooth execution of placement activities across the university.
6. Data Management & Reporting
- Track and analyse placement data, trends, and recruiter feedback.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.
- Maintain accurate records of student placements and corporate engagements.
