How You'll Help Us Connect The World As a Staff Engineer - R&D (Physical Layer), you will be responsible for requirements review, design, implementation, integration and testing of PHY layer software. We are looking for a hands-on Individual Contributor with proficiency in design & development of 3GPP PHY layer for 4G/5G protocol standards. This is a Full Time, Work from Office (5 Days a week) role based in Bangalore, India. Required Qualifications For Consideration Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related fields with 10+ years of experience. 4+ years of hands-on experience in design & development of Downlink/Uplink signal-chains for 3GPP 4G/5G standards. Exposure to Intel FlexRan framework for 5G-NR or LTE is a must. Implementation, validation & optimization of DSP Algorithms for CPU & memory consumption. Experience in developing MATLAB models for 4g/5g Downlink/Uplink signal chains. Troubleshooting PHY layer using MATLAB models. Experience in using test equipment such as Signal Generators & VSA. ORAN Fronthaul for C/U Plane packet processing, knowledge of DPDK, PTP, PHY integration with L2/O-RU is a plus. Design/implement/test/troubleshoot SW for multi-threaded, multi-processor architectures. Strong expertise in C/C++ programming. Exposure Linux based developer environment, GIT, is a plus. Why ANDREW?
