WordPress core, WooCommerce, and custom plugin development . Must be able to? develop, customize, and optimize plugins and themes ? (backend-focused). Experience in creating and integrating? REST APIs / third-party APIs . Solid understanding of? PHP (OOP), MySQL, and database optimization . Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Hands-on experience with? GitHub/GitLab ?for version control. Understanding of? WordPress hooks, filters, actions, and shortcodes . Experience in? security best practices, performance tuning, and scalability . Familiarity with? Linux server, cPanel, or SSH ?is a plus. Exposure to? AWS / cloud hosting environments ?will be an advantage. Knowledge of? other PHP frameworks (Laravel/CodeIgniter) ?is considered an advantage. Skills Required: Strong expertise in? WordPress backend development . Proficiency in? PHP, MySQL, REST APIs, and server-side logic . Ability to write? clean, reusable, and efficient code . Strong understanding of? database structures and queries . The capability to handle projects independently from start to finish. Good communication skills for project discussions with the team/clients. Strong initiative to suggest and implement improvements in code and systems.
