PHP Laravel Backend Engineer (2+ Years Experience) ?? Shimla / Remote | ?? Tcipher Technologies Tcipher Technologies is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in PHP and Laravel to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with product, frontend, and QA teams to build scalable backend systems, secure APIs, and automation workflows powering real-world applications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, clean code principles, and contributing to high-impact projects across multiple domains including SaaS, delivery platforms, CRM systems, and AI-powered applications. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Laravel and PHP Build secure, efficient, and well-documented REST APIs Work with relational databases (primarily MySQL ) including migrations, indexing, and query optimization Integrate third-party tools such as payment gateways, SMS services, and API-based workflows Implement caching systems (Redis/Database cache) and background job processing (Queues/Schedulers) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, architect, and deploy new features Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code following SOLID principles & best practices Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions Required Skills & Experience 2?3 years of experience working with Laravel and PHP Strong understanding of MVC architecture Experience working with MySQL, Eloquent ORM, and database design Knowledge of authentication systems (JWT/OAuth) Familiarity with Git, Composer, and API testing tools (Postman/Insomnia) Understanding of performance optimization, security practices, and deployment workflows Nice to Have (Not Mandatory) Experience with Microservices, Docker, CI/CD, or AWS Knowledge of Redis, WebSockets, or payment gateway integrations Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments What We Offer Competitive compensation based on skill and performance Opportunity to work on scalable products across globally growing markets A learning-focused environment with continuous growth and mentorship Remote-flexible work culture and an ownership-driven role
