Job Description

Overview As a Developer II , you will Produce clean and efficient code based on user story acceptance criteria. Write unit test scripts with strong coverage. Troubleshoot, debug, and modify existing software. Participate in builds and deployments. Responsibilities Use your existing expertise and learn new skills and technologies to deliver high-quality code for PHP Laravel web applications. Work as part of an Agile team using Scrum methodology. Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver new user experiences and features, provide input on technical feasibility, and present implementation options to guide project planning. Work with other RealPage teams to build integrated experiences with other RealPage products. Collaborate with your team to take ownership of problems and deliver solutions that meet delivery deadlines. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development. 3+ years of experience with PHP (PHP 8+ preferred). 2+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel framework. Strong fundamentals in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in PHP. 3+ years of experience with unit test automation (e.g., PHPUnit) and strong understanding of the importance of unit testing in modern software development. Excellent communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken English. Solid understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design principles, with the ability to collaborate on the best approach to problems. Familiarity with Composer, Laravel Mix, and RESTful API development. Node.js experience for backend services and API development. Good To Have Skills React, or other front-end frameworks. Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Preferred: Utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency in everyday tasks
