Job Description

Cygnus Advertising (India) Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced PHP Developer with strong hands-on knowledge of PHP 8.x, MySQL, and CodeIgniter 4. The selected candidate will be responsible for independently handling and executing dynamic web portal projects for a prestigious client at Dhanbad.

The candidate should have practical experience in developing secure, scalable, and database-driven web applications and should be capable of managing assigned project modules independently, from requirement understanding to development, testing, deployment support, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, customize, and maintain dynamic web portals using PHP 8.x, MySQL, and CodeIgniter 4.
2. Work independently on project modules and deliver them within defined timelines.
3. Understand client requirements and convert them into functional web-based solutions.
4. Develop admin panels, user management systems, reporting modules, forms, dashboards, and content management features.
5. Ensure clean coding practices, proper documentation, and maintainable application structure.
6. Perform debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization.
7. Coordinate with the client-side team and internal project team for smooth project execution.

Required Skills

1. Strong working experience in PHP 8.x.
2. Good hands-on experience in CodeIgniter 4 framework.
3. Strong knowledge of MySQL database design, queries, joins, indexing, and optimization.
4. Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and AJAX.
5. Experience in developing dynamic portals, admin panels, CMS-based modules, and database-driven applications.
6. Basic knowledge of server deployment, cPanel, hosting environment, FTP, and database migration.
7. Good problem-solving ability and independent working capability.
8. Clear communication skills and professional attitude while working with client-side stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

1. Experience in government, institutional, academic, corporate, or large organizational web portals.
2. Knowledge of web security practices, form validation, SQL injection prevention, and session handling.
3. Experience in working at client locations or handling client-facing technical responsibilities.
