Position: Java Support Engineer with (Automotive ? Dealer Management System (DMS) Location: Chennai/Bangalore/Pune (Hybrid) Employment Type: Permanent About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Java Support Engineer with hands-on expertise in Automotive DMS applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2/L3 application support, troubleshooting issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless business operations for dealership environments. Key Responsibilities: Application & Technical Support Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications within the Automotive DMS ecosystem. Troubleshoot incidents, analyze application logs, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions. Monitor system performance, jobs, integrations, and interfaces related to DMS. Handle incident, problem, and change management activities as per ITIL processes. Work closely with development teams to address code-level defects and enhancements. DMS Expertise (Mandatory experience working with Automotive DMS applications). Support and maintain Automotive Dealer Management Systems such as: Sales, Service, CRM, Parts, Warranty, Inventory, Finance modules. Understand dealership workflows, OEM integrations, vehicle lifecycle data, and business processes. Troubleshoot issues related to DMS transactions, customer onboarding, service scheduling, order management, parts allocation, etc. Collaborate with dealerships, OEM teams, and business users for requirement clarification. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on Support experience in Core Java, J2EE, Servlets, JSP, Web Services (REST/SOAP). Good understanding of SQL/PL-SQL, relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Experience with application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic). Proficiency in log analysis tools, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems. Knowledge of microservices, JSON, XML, and API troubleshooting is an added advantage.
