Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Sr. Perl Automation Engineer (4?7 years of experience) with strong expertise in Perl programming and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Perl, automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of storage/virtualization domains. This role offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Perl. Work with Object-Oriented Perl, Debugger, Regular Expressions, File Handling, DBI, XML, and REST APIs. Collaborate on automation frameworks and test automation initiatives. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for scalability and performance. Contribute to storage and virtualization-related projects (VMWare). Support DevOps practices using Docker, Containers, Terraform, Jenkins. Ensure adherence to best practices and mentor junior team members. Key Skills Required:- 4?7 years of experience in Perl programming & automation Strong expertise in Perl Programming & Object-Oriented Perl Debugging, File Handling, DBI, XMLs, REST APIs Knowledge of Linux , Databases , Networking (TCP/IP) , and OS concepts Exposure to Storage & Virtualization (VMWare) Understanding of DevOps tools (Docker, Terraform, Jenkins) Knowledge of Python (good to have) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Leadership qualities & ability to work in a team
