Job Description

Job Title : Performance Testing

Job Location : Bengaluru

Exp Range : 6-10 years

Notice Period : immediate - 15 days


Job Summary

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in performance testing, performance engineering, and end-to-end system analysis. The candidate will design, develop, and execute performance test strategies using Gatling and Scala, identify bottlenecks, analyze system behavior, and work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve application scalability, reliability, and response times.


Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end performance, load, stress, and scalability testing

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Gatling (Scala-based)

• Gather and document Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)

• Perform test environment setup, data preparation, and workload modeling

• Monitor application performance using APM tools

• Identify bottlenecks and perform root cause analysis

• Analyze logs, metrics, and profiling reports

• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Prepare performance reports and provide tuning recommendations

• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams


Required Technical Skills (Must-Have)

• Performance Testing – 3+ years

• Performance Engineering – 3+ years

• Gatling – 2+ years hands-on

• Scala – 2+ years

• Non-Functional Requirement gathering – 2+ years

• Git – 1+ year

• Strong knowledge of Load, Stress, Spike, Volume, and Endurance testing


Tools & Technologies

• Programming: Scala, Java

• Performance Tools: Gatling, JMeter

• APM Tools: Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic

• Profiling Tools: JProfiler, JVisualVM, SQL Profiler

• CI/CD: Jenkins

• Build Tools: Maven, Gradle

• API Testing: Postman

• Version Control: Git
