Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with hands-on expertise in Gatling and Gatling Cloud to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and monitor load tests for modern distributed systems, ensuring scalable, reliable, and performant software. You will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance test plans using Gatling and Gatling Cloud.
• Work with HTTP/REST APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous systems to simulate real-world scenarios.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Develop and maintain Scala scripts for complex load testing scenarios.
• Collaborate in microservices-based environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Istio.
• Monitor and analyze JVM metrics and APM tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic) to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Define load patterns, ramp-up strategies, and performance baselines.
• Support teams in interpreting test results and tuning applications for optimal performance.
• Work in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to simulate cloud-native traffic loads.
• Promote performance best practices and proactive monitoring across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent in performance testing (optional).
• Familiarity with performance engineering in CI/CD at scale.
• Experience with additional performance testing tools or frameworks.
