About the role -
Role & responsibilities
- Performance marketing strategy & resource allocation: Define ad strategy, budget allocation, and RoAS targets by category, platform, and geography; refresh strategy based on campaign learnings.
- Campaign execution: Ensure campaign structures, bidding protocols, and optimization strategies maximize sales, market share, and profitability.
- Playbook ownership: Codify best practices, lead A/B testing, and ensure adherence in day-to-day operations.
- Insights, reporting & governance: Monitor KPIs, conduct stand-ups, perform root cause analysis, and present key learnings to senior management.
- Agency management: Supervise agency execution, ensure SLAs, manage relationships, and drive performance improvements.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Advise category teams, KAMs, and brand teams; coordinate with content and supply chain; share performance marketing insights internally.
Preferred candidate profile
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in executing performance marketing campaigns on retailer platforms
- In-depth understanding of the consumer journey/ funnel on digital commerce platforms
- In-depth understanding of key success metrics and their drivers along the consumer funnel
- Data-backed decision making and communication
- Quantitative mindset, proficient in MS Excel and data analysis
- Experience of working in cross-functional environments with diverse stakeholders
- Relevant industry experience (CPG) is a plus
