Job Summary
We are looking for a self‑driven People Operations Lead to take full ownership of talent acquisition and core HR operations. This is a high‑ownership role where you will work directly with the founders and senior management to shape hiring, culture, and people processes in a fast‑paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will have 2–7 years of experience in HR with a strong focus on recruitment, preferably in a startup or small organisation (under 100 people). You will have support from external recruitment agencies as and when required and full access to AI‑first people and HR platforms to streamline hiring, engagement, and operations.
Key Responsibilties
- Lead full‑cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding across functions.
- Build and refine hiring processes to ensure speed, quality, and a strong candidate experience, leveraging both internal tools and external agencies.
- Conduct employee orientation and induction to set new hires up for success.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and HRIS systems.
- Support performance management, feedback cycles, and development conversations.
- Address employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and processes.
- Plan and execute employee engagement, culture, and internal initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership review, using AI‑first people tools and analytics platforms.
- Coordinate with external recruitment firms and vendors when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in a startup or small organisation (under 100 people) is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–7 years of HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives end‑to‑end.
- Good understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and HRIS tools.
- Comfort using AI‑first HR and recruitment platforms and willingness to adopt new tools quickly.
- Ability to partner effectively with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
