Role Description The People and Culture Manager is a full-time role responsible for building and sustaining a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace at naise.app. This hybrid position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing people programs across the employee lifecycle, such as onboarding, performance management, engagement initiatives, and learning and development. The role also manages HR operations, supports people-related policies and compliance, and partners with leadership on organizational design and change management. The People and Culture Manager will serve as a trusted partner to team members, fostering open communication, supporting conflict resolution, and championing a strong, values-driven culture aligned with the company’s AI-native mission.

Qualifications


  • Demonstrated experience in People & Culture, HR, or People Operations, including employee relations, performance management, and HR processes.
  • Skills in organizational development, change management, and culture-building, with the ability to design and implement scalable people programs.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
  • Experience with talent acquisition, onboarding, and employer branding to support hiring and retention in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to use data and people analytics to inform decisions, track program effectiveness, and present insights to leadership.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, performance management platforms) and comfort working in tech-forward, AI-driven environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations, with a commitment to equitable, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) are a plus.
  • Prior experience in startups or high-growth companies, ideally within the technology or SaaS sector, is beneficial.
