Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Pega Lead Tester to lead the testing activities for enterprise applications built on the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for test planning, strategy, execution, and leading a team of testers to ensure high-quality delivery of Pega-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end testing activities for Pega applications across multiple projects.
Prepare test strategies, test plans, and test execution schedules.
Design and review test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for Pega applications.
Manage functional, regression, integration, and system testing cycles.
Coordinate with Pega developers, architects, and business analysts to understand requirements and application workflows.
Lead and mentor a team of QA/test engineers.
Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA or ALM and ensure timely resolution.
Validate Pega workflows, case management, decision rules, and integrations with external systems.
Provide testing status reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
Support UAT cycles and production deployments.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in software testing with strong exposure to Pega applications.
Experience in leading QA teams and managing testing deliverables.
Strong understanding of STLC, Agile methodology, and QA best practices.
Hands-on experience in test planning, defect management, and test execution.
Knowledge of API testing, integration testing, and database testing.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar tools.
