Job Summary
We are hiring a Payroll & Statutory Compliance Executive to manage end-to-end payroll processing and statutory compliance for manufacturing and operations workforce. The role requires hands-on experience in Indian labor laws, factory payroll, and statutory filings such as PF, ESI, PT, and LWF.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for factory/shop-floor employees with high accuracy
- Manage statutory compliance including PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), PT (Professional Tax), LWF (Labour Welfare Fund)
- Handle full & final settlements, reimbursements, and payroll reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain payroll MIS reports, salary registers, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with finance team for salary disbursement and statutory payments
- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance under Indian labor laws
- Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, and compliance
- Maintain audit-ready records for internal and external audits
- Support HR and management with payroll analytics and reporting
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience in payroll processing for manufacturing/workforce employees
- Proficiency in HRIS / Payroll Software
- Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Reconciliation)
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Experience: 2–4 years in Payroll & Compliance (Manufacturing preferred)
- Education: MBA in HR / Master’s Degree in Human Resources
- Prior experience in factory / textile / shop-floor workforce payroll is highly preferred
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Working Hours: 09:30 AM – 06:30 PM
- Location: On-site (Plant-based role near Dumas Road, Surat)
