Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Specialist Location: Gurgaon, Sector 59 (Work From Office only) Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday?Saturday) About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for a large workforce spread across 500+ retail stores and corporate offices. The role requires accuracy, compliance knowledge, and a strong command of payroll processes, statutory requirements, and HR systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across retail and corporate functions. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, overtime, and deductions. Handle statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and other applicable laws. Maintain payroll records, employee master data, and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Business teams to ensure timely payouts. Prepare and share payroll MIS, dashboards, and statutory reports on time. Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and vendors when required. Drive automation and process improvements in payroll and compliance management. Key Requirements: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, HR, or related field. 3?6 years of proven experience in payroll processing (retail industry exposure preferred). Strong knowledge of statutory compliances (PF, ESI, PT, TDS). Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and comfort with HRIS/Payroll software. Detail-oriented, process-driven, and highly organized.
