About The Role

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Patent Drafting professionals to join our IP team. This role is open to Associate, Senior Associate, and Manager levels, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting high-quality patent applications across software, AI, and related technology domains. This is a technical, client-facing role requiring close collaboration with inventors, attorneys, and internal teams to ensure strong and defensible IP protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inventor interviews to understand technical innovations and invention disclosures
• Draft patent applications including claims, specifications, and drawings in compliance with USPTO/EPO standards
• Handle end-to-end drafting and prosecution assignments with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and respond to office actions, analyzing examiner objections and supporting prosecution strategy
• Review and provide feedback on drafts prepared by junior team members (for Senior Associate / Manager roles)
• Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and cross-functional teams to ensure clarity and completeness of filings
• Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks, drafting standards, and project timelines
• Maintain proper documentation and records of drafting and prosecution activities
• Stay updated on patent laws, drafting practices, and emerging technology trends
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in patent drafting
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution
• Strong knowledge of US patent laws, USPTO procedures, and/or EPO guidelines
• Proven ability to draft high-quality claims and specifications independently
• Experience in handling office actions and examiner rejections
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and time-management abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment
