Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and engaging Part-Time English Teacher to join our team in Dehradun.

In this role, you will help women between 20 and 30 years old improve their English communication skills from beginner level. The position is not only about teaching grammar and vocabulary, but also about motivating, encouraging, and building confidence in individuals who may have had limited exposure to English education previously.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, interactive, and comfortable engaging with groups. The ideal candidate should be able to create a safe and positive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate, speak, and grow.


You will teach practical English skills that can support both personal and professional development, while contributing to a meaningful social initiative focused on empowerment through education and opportunity.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct English language classes for two groups.
  • Teach English from scratch to women between 20 and 30 years old.
  • Develop and structure a complete syllabus adapted to the students’ learning levels and needs.
  • Create lesson plans and teaching materials for beginner-level English learners.
  • Focus on spoken English, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, and writing skills.
  • Support students in developing confidence and practical communication skills.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
  • Motivate and actively engage students during classes.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports to management.


Qualifications
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience teaching English or working in education/training is preferred.
  • Ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
  • Comfortable engaging with groups and encouraging active participation.
  • Energetic, motivating, and confident in creating an interactive learning environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Suite is an advantage.
  • Passion for creating positive social impact through education and empowerment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree or certification in English, Education, Teaching, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching spoken English or workplace communication.
  • Experience working with adult learners is considered a plus.


Working Hours
  • Part-time position.
  • 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday.
  • Teaching will be conducted in two separate groups.
  • Flexible scheduling may be discussed with the selected candidate.
