Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Parliamentary & Ministry Affairs Officer / Executive Assistant to provide strategic and administrative support in parliamentary affairs, ministry coordination, and constituency-related matters. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with Members of Parliament, Government Ministries, Parliamentary Committees, or related government offices and possess a thorough understanding of parliamentary procedures and government functioning in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all parliamentary work, including preparation for Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha sessions.
- Draft and prepare parliamentary questions, Zero Hour submissions, Special Mentions, Calling Attention notices, speeches, briefing notes, and research documents.
- Monitor parliamentary proceedings, bills, committee reports, and policy developments.
- Coordinate with Parliamentary Committees and government departments for information and follow-up actions.
- Prepare meeting notes, presentations, and reports on parliamentary matters.
- Liaise with Central Ministries, Government Departments, and senior officials regarding official matters and follow-ups.
- Coordinate meetings with ministries and monitor the status of requests, representations, and policy proposals.
- Understand ministry procedures, government protocols, and inter-departmental coordination mechanisms.
- Prepare official communications and maintain regular follow-up with concerned authorities.
- Assist in addressing constituency-related issues and grievances.
- Coordinate with district administrations, state government departments, and local authorities for project implementation and issue resolution.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and data related to constituency development initiatives.
- Maintain records and monitor progress of constituency projects and representations.
- Draft high-quality official letters, representations, speeches, policy notes, reports, and correspondence in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Prepare professional communications with government departments and stakeholders.
- Review and ensure accuracy and professionalism in all written communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Public Policy, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in parliamentary affairs, government relations, ministry coordination, or working with a Member of Parliament, Minister, or Government Department.
- Thorough understanding of parliamentary procedures, ministry functioning, and government administration in India.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Strong research, analytical, organizational, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, presentation preparation, and report writing.
- Prior experience working in Parliament, a Minister's Office, Government Ministry, Parliamentary Committee, or an MP's office.
- Strong network and working relationships with government officials and ministry stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and travel when required.
Working Conditions:
- The candidate must be available to work in the MP Delhi office
