Job Description

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive PAM Development Support Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will support the development, deployment, and maintenance of Public Application Management (PAM) solutions, working across multiple platforms including mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain. Your expertise will help ensure the stability, security, and scalability of PAM systems, contributing to the organization’s digital infrastructure and client services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, optimize processes, and support cutting-edge technology integrations.

Software Requirements

Required: Java, Python, Node.js, Git, JIRA, Confluence, SDLC methodologies, Agile/Scrum practices
Preferred: Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), AWS IoT, Blockchain frameworks, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Buildkite), API management tools, Microservices architecture experience
Experience level: 5+ years of relevant technical experience in software development and systems support

Overall Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and design innovative solutions for PAM systems involving mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain technologies
Develop detailed technical specifications and documentation for new features, improvements, and integrations
Maintain and improve existing PAM solutions, ensuring their performance, security, and robustness
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and support deployment activities to ensure smooth releases
Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and processes
Support the integration of emerging technologies and ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Assist in incident resolution and provide technical guidance to team members to improve system reliability and performance

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

Required: Java, Python, Node.js
Preferred: Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and testing (Bash, PowerShell)

Databases/Data Management:

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB)

Cloud Technologies:

Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services related to IoT, blockchain, and application deployment

Frameworks and Libraries:

Cloud SDKs, RESTful API development frameworks, blockchain SDKs, IoT platforms integration tools

Development Tools & Methodologies:

Git, Jenkins, Buildkite, Agile and Scrum frameworks, automation testing tools, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Security Protocols:

Basic understanding of cryptography, access management, OAuth2, JWT, and data security best practices

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting or developing on multi-platform environments including mobile, cloud, IoT, or blockchain
Proven experience working across diverse technology platforms and integrating systems in an enterprise setting
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
Experience in systems support, troubleshooting, and deployment of secure, scalable solutions
Industry experience: Financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments preferred; extensive experience in technology-driven industries can be an alternative pathway

Day-to-Day Activities

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that leverage mobile, cloud, IoT, and blockchain technology
Assist in developing and maintaining PAM systems, ensuring security, scalability, and operational efficiency
Support automation, deployment, and release processes, including code reviews and documentation
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to ensure system stability and performance
Track and resolve technical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and document resolutions
Stay current with industry innovations and emerging technology trends, recommending new tools and approaches

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Cloud certifications, or blockchain related credentials are a plus
Proven ability to work across multiple platforms with a focus on security, scalability, and operational excellence
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
