Deutsche B?rse Group We?re building the next generation of cloud-native operations at Deutsche B?rse Group. As part of our Corporate IT Cloud Infrastructure Operations team, we?re looking for a PaaS, AI & Automation Engineer who?s passionate about automation, reliability, and modern cloud technologies. This is not just another ops role ? it?s an opportunity to shape how we run and scale our cloud-native platforms (GCP, Azure) in a highly regulated financial environment. You?ll work at the intersection of development and infrastructure operations, helping us evolve our platform capabilities while ensuring performance, resilience, and security. What You?ll Do As a PaaS & Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in modernizing our infrastructure landscape through automation, cloud-native technologies, and AI-driven enhancements. You will design and implement solutions that streamline deployments, improve observability, and enhance operational efficiency across our hybrid cloud environments. This role is ideal for a self-driven engineer with a passion for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement. Infrastructure Automation & Deployment: Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines. AI & Observability Integration: Integrate AI/ML solutions to optimize ticket resolution, automate request handling, facilitate customer self-service, and enhance system observability. Security & Compliance: Adhere to security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Implement AI assisted vulnerability verification, mitigation and resolution while maintaining operational stability. Collaboration & Innovation: Work cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teams to integrate tools and processes. Technical Writing & Documentation: Creation of comprehensive documentation and knowledge base articles related to the implementation and application of solutions What You Bring Experience integrating AI/ML, preferably into infrastructure operations 3+ years of experience in automation in a mission-critical environment. Hands-on experience with GCP, Vertex AI and familiarity with cloud native serverless technologies. Azure experience is a plus. Proficiency in automation platforms such as Ansible, GCP Workflows. Solid understanding of API integrations, authentication and event-driven architecture. Familiarity with monitoring and observability (OTel, Prometheus integration) Must have 2+ scripting and programming experience (Python, Bash, ...) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in Terraform for declarative infrastructure provisioning. Exposure to SRE practices and GitOps workflows Ability to self-motivate Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in written and spoken English.
