Job Description

Description Responsible for managing container orchestration platforms, observability stacks, and operators for CBDC workloads. The role ensures high availability, scalability, and security of containerized applications running on EKS, with integrated monitoring and logging using Elastic/ELK. Container Orchestration & EKS Administration Deploy, configure, and manage Amazon EKS clusters for CBDC applications. Implement node scaling, cluster upgrades, and patching. Configure network policies, RBAC, and IAM roles for secure cluster access. Manage Kubernetes Operators for automating application lifecycle tasks. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for containerized workloads. Observability & Logging Deploy and maintain Elastic/ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for centralized logging and analytics. Integrate Prometheus/Grafana for metrics and performance monitoring. Configure alerts and dashboards for proactive issue detection. Automation & CI/CD Automate cluster provisioning and application deployments using Terraform, Helm, and Ansible. Integrate orchestration workflows with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Security & Compliance Apply Kubernetes hardening best practices and secure container images. Implement TLS encryption, secrets management, and compliance checks. Ensure adherence to ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and central bank security standards. Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization Diagnose issues related to pods, nodes, networking, and storage. Optimize cluster performance and resource utilization. Skills & Expertise Strong experience in Amazon EKS administration and Kubernetes orchestration. Hands-on experience with Elastic/ELK stack for logging and observability. Knowledge of Kubernetes Operators and CRDs for automation. Familiarity with CBDC architecture, containerized workloads, and secure environments. Proficiency in Linux administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation tools.
