Role: Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant

Location: India (Remote) (Open to travelling to the middle east as needed)

Experience: 8+ years (Core HR & Absence Management)



Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Core HR foundation design and Absence Management to support complex, multi-country deployments across India and the GCC (KSA/UAE). The consultant will own the full employee lifecycle foundation — enterprise structures, workforce structures, employment models, and HR service delivery — while leading the design and configuration of global absence and leave programs, ensuring compliance with diverse legislative mandates.

Mandatory hands-on experience in configuring Core HR and Absence/Leave requirements for KSA, India, and UAE legislations is required.


Key Responsibilities


Core HR — Foundation & Workforce Structures

  • Configure enterprise structures: LDGs, Legal Entities, Business Units, Workforce Structures (Jobs, Positions, Grades, Locations).
  • Implement Global HR with multi-country statutory rules (India, UAE, KSA).
  • Manage HR data security: person/org security profiles, HCM roles, RBAC.
  • Lead organisation management: mass updates, position synchronisation, reporting hierarchies.


Core HR — Employee Experience & Workflow

  • Configure Oracle ME (My Experience) modules: Journeys, Touchpoints, Celebrate, Communicate.
  • Implement Manager & Employee Self-Service with Redwood pages and guided journeys.
  • Design HR approval workflows using Oracle BPM/AME.
  • Build HR analytics dashboards for KPIs: headcount, attrition, diversity.


Absence Management — Plan Design & Configuration

  • Lead design and configuration of absence plans, accrual formulas, eligibility rules.
  • Configure work schedules and patterns for GCC variations (Ramadan, shifts).
  • Implement absence self-service, approval workflows, and reporting dashboards.


Absence Management — Statutory & Integration

  • Configure statutory leave for India (Factories Act, Maternity Benefit Act), KSA (Saudi Labour Law), and UAE Labour Law.
  • Integrate Absence Management with Payroll, Time & Labor, and Core HR.
  • Develop OTBI dashboards for absence utilisation, FMLA tracking, and trend analysis.


Shared — Delivery & Testing

  • Conduct CRP sessions, document requirements, and lead UAT cycles.
  • Prepare functional design documents, test scripts, and training materials.
  • Provide post-go-live hypercare support for Core HR and Absence Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or IT
  • Prior GCC implementation experience with WPS/GOSI/Mudad compliance
  • Experience with Oracle Absence Management + Time & Labor for shift-based workforce
  • Knowledge of migration from legacy HRMS (EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP, Workday)
  • Exposure to Oracle Journeys, Oracle ME, and AI Agent Studio
  • Familiarity with GCC payroll/HR statutory compliance
