Oracle EPM EPBCS Consultant

Role Description This is a full-time Oracle EPM EPBCS Consultant role based in Hyderabad with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The consultant will design, configure, and implement Oracle EPM EPBCS solutions to support budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, mapping business processes to Oracle EPM functionalities, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize financial and operational planning workflows. The role involves supporting integrations with related Oracle applications, troubleshooting system issues, preparing documentation, and providing end-user training and post-implementation support. The consultant will also participate in continuous improvement initiatives, recommending enhancements that align with client objectives and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands-on EPBCS/PBCS implementation experience; at least one full-cycle greenfield Financials module delivery.
• Strong EPBCS configuration skills: Dimension design, business rules, allocations, multi-currency, and security.
• Proficiency in Groovy scripting, Calc Manager, EPM Data Integration, and EPM Automate
• Experience integrating EPBCS with core banking GL systems; multi-currency and FX translation experience required.
• Strong communication skills; ability to engage Finance users and IT teams independently.
• Seeking an Oracle EPM EPBCS Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the EPBCS Financials module for a banking institution.
• The consultant will partner with Finance, FP&A and IT teams to deliver a scalable planning and forecasting solution aligned to bank-specific P&L, Balance Sheet, and center budgeting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement EPBCS Financials covering P&L planning, Balance Sheet planning, center budgeting, and scenario/version management.
• Configure dimensions, metadata, business rules (Groovy/Calc Manager), forms, dashboards, and approval workflows.
• Build and maintain data integrations with core banking/ERP sources (Oracle Cloud ERP, FCCS ,EDM and On prem Systems) using EPM Data Integration and EPM Automate.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecast, and stress scenario planning cycles with driver-based modeling.
• Administer application security, environment promotions (Dev→Test→Prod), and quarterly release management.
• Lead requirements workshops, deliver Design and configuration documentation, and support UAT through go-live.
