• Test Automation Strategy & Planning
  
  

Design and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy for Oracle E Business Suite (EBS) covering Functional, Integration, Regression, and End to End (E2E) testing across business processes.

• Automation Framework Development
  
  

Develop, enhance, and maintain reusable EBS automation frameworks using industry standard or enterprise tools (e.g., OATS, Tricentis Tosca, UFT, Selenium based frameworks where applicable).

• EBS Functional Coverage
  
  

Automate test scenarios across key Oracle EBS modules such as Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), SCM (PO, INV, BOM, WIP, OM), HRMS, and Custom Extensions based on business criticality.

• Test Script Design & Maintenance
  
  

Create, review, and maintain robust, modular, and data driven automation scripts aligned with business workflows, ensuring ease of maintenance during patches, upgrades, and rollouts.

• Regression & Upgrade Testing Support
  
  

Execute automated regression test cycles to support EBS upgrades (e.g., R12.x), periodic patches, support packs, and customization remediation with minimal manual intervention.

• Integration & Interface Validation
  
  

Perform automated validation of EBS inbound and outbound integrations, including interfaces involving XML Gateway, SOA, BI Publisher, third party systems, and custom PL/SQL programs.

• CI/CD & DevOps Integration
  
  

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing, scheduled executions, and early defect detection in Dev, Test, and UAT environments.

• Defect Management & Reporting
  
  

Log, track, and validate defects using standard defect management tools, and provide test execution reports, automation metrics, and quality dashboards to stakeholders.

• Test Data & Environment Management
  
  

Coordinate with functional, technical, and DBA teams for test data preparation, environment readiness, and refresh activities to support automated test execution.

• Quality Governance & Continuous Improvement
  
  

Ensure adherence to defined QA standards, best practices, and compliance requirements, and continuously identify opportunities to improve automation coverage, execution efficiency, and testing productivity.
