📢 Opportunity for Associate Advocate / Litigation Counsel (Gandhidham)

I am looking for an energetic and regular Associate Advocate to handle an active court and filing portfolio at the Gandhidham Courts.

This is a structured role ideal for an early-career advocate looking to build consistent court exposure, master registry mechanics, and handle routine appearances in matters involving the NI Act, civil compliance, and criminal procedural applications.

What you will be doing:

• Court Appearances: Representing matters in court, managing regular dates, and tracking the daily cause list. (Prior courtroom appearance experience is mandatory).
• Draft Verification & Filing: You will be provided with meticulously prepared, pre-drafted legal pleadings. Your core responsibility is to verify them for local registry compliance, clear any objections, and execute the physical filings.
• Registry Coordination: Navigating the local court registry to obtain certified copies, file routine applications, and ensure strategic filings are executed without delay.

Professional Practice Exposure: Because you will be working with pre-prepared, research-backed drafts, you will gain deep exposure to strategic litigation frameworks and current procedural applications (including the BNSS/BNS) without the burden of drafting from scratch. It is a highly practical stepping stone to solidifying your independent court craft.

The Terms & Requirements:

• Experience: Mandatory court appearance and registry experience. You should be comfortable handling routine call-outs before the bench.
• Commitment: Minimum engagement of 1 year.
• Compensation: Paid on a structured per-appearance basis.
• Location: Strictly for candidates based in or immediately around Gandhidham, Kutch. (Please note: No travel or accommodation allowances are provided).
