Team Lead

Job Description:

People management:

  • Responsible for volume management & allocation of tasks
  • Analysis of team’s performance & reporting to manager based on every individual’s performance
  • Taking up new initiatives & projects
  • Appreciate & encourage top performers to perform objectively
  • Provide review & approval of daily tasks performed by analysts
  • Assisting people from other teams on operations related queries
  • Conducting training sessions for new joiners
  • Monitoring and assisting with the quality of the work done by the team
  • Manage workforce in case of emergency leaves & backup planning
  • Coaching team members on effective time management

Process management:

  • Perform Data Aggregation, Transactions Processing, Accounting, Data Management, and Compliance Reporting
  • Processing bills pay initiation & review bill pay performed by analysts
  • Overlooking data feeds across the whole organization
  • Preparation of LOAs
  • Managing DMS (Document Management Stream) across all clients & resource planning

Client management:

  • Getting in touch with external aggregators to make sure all the feeds have been received
  • Lead Daily / Weekly Operational meeting with clients
  • Handling ad hoc queries by the client & raising Jira tickets along with following up on the same
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for client queries, issue resolution
  • Provide monthly reports to the client (Cash Balance & Cash in out reports)
  • Quality management
  • Responsible for meeting Service Level Agreement as agreed in the Statement of Works
  • Ensuring achievement of production and quality targets

Reporting:

  • Making sure all the reports are sent on or before time
  • Checking production log of a team member on a weekly basis & allocating work as per the load
  • Constantly focused on creative thinking & reporting issues in the product for a client to work smoothly on the product

Additional Job responsibilities:

  • Establish strong break identification and resolution mechanisms before final review stages
  • Own investment report accuracy at team level, ensuring all outputs meet quality benchmarks
  • Monitor and drive client commitment adherence, including timelines, SLAs, and deliverable quality
  • Oversee team execution of daily cash and portfolio movement analysis, ensuring consistency and completeness
  • Review and validate large transaction analysis and rationale documentation prepared by the team
  • Supervise tax accounting module setups, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements and internal standards


The outcome will be measured by: C-sat, Attrition, E-sat, and Employee growth.

Position requirement:

  • *2 yrs experience in a similar role and overall, *5 yrs and above experience in the industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce or MBA in Finance or CMA /CA/CPA
  • CFA Foundation is preferred
