Job Description
The Operations/ General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations of the hotel. The GM ensures exceptional guest experiences, financial profitability, brand compliance, and operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of all departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Security, and Spa).
- Ensure the hotel maintains standards at all times.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with brand standards (if part of brands such as Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, or Hyatt Hotels Corporation).
2. Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Ensure personalized, world-class guest service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and online reputation.
- Handle VIP guests, high-profile clientele, and guest complaints professionally.
3. Financial Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
- Maximize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy.
- Control costs while maintaining luxury service quality.
- Analyze financial statements and KPIs.
- Ensure profitability and revenue growth.
4. Sales & Marketing Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing team to drive revenue.
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and event planners.
- Strengthen brand positioning in the luxury market.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
5. Human Resources & Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop department heads.
- Foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Conduct performance evaluations.
- Maintain high employee engagement and retention.
6. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local laws, safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain health, safety, and security standards.
- Oversee crisis management procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
· 15+ years of luxury hotel experience, with at least 3–5 years as Hotel Manager or Director of Operations.
· Experience in 5-star or internationally branded hotels.
· Strong financial acumen and leadership skills (P&L, budgeting).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good communication, leadership, guest‑oriented.
- Understanding of local regulations, safety, health standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹95,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
