Operations Manager

Role Description The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing and operations activities at Microfactory Manufacturing’s facility in Ahmedabad in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role includes managing production schedules, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to global clients. The Operations Manager will monitor quality control processes, optimize workflows, and support continuous improvement initiatives to meet international standards and cost efficiency goals. Responsibilities also include leading and developing the operations team, managing inventory and warehousing, and collaborating with logistics partners to maintain smooth end-to-end operations. The role requires regular reporting on performance metrics and close coordination with sales, engineering, and customer service teams to support project execution and client satisfaction.
Qualifications

• Experience in operations management, production planning, and process optimization within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Skills in supplier coordination, sourcing, and supply chain management, including working with global vendor networks.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, compliance with international standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Competence in inventory management, warehousing, and logistics planning to support end-to-end product development.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication with internal teams and international clients.
• Proficiency with operations and ERP tools, data analysis, and reporting to support decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in contract manufacturing, custom engineering services, or global sourcing is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
