Assistant Manager – AIF Operations

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3–5 years (Relevant experience in AIF/Fund Operations)

Role Overview

The Assistant Manager – AIF Operations will support the day-to-day operational activities of Alternative Investment Funds (Category II), ensuring smooth fund administration, support in regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves assisting in fund operations across the entire fund lifecycle while maintaining accurate records and timely execution of operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage fund operations including capital calls, drawdowns, and distributions.
• Handle investor onboarding, KYC documentation, fund accounting, and maintenance of investor records.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, custodians, auditors, banks, and internal teams for transaction processing and reconciliations.
• Manage regulatory filings, investor reporting, and compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations.
• Maintain operational controls, prepare periodic reports, and ensure accurate and timely execution of fund activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of AIF operations and SEBI AIF Regulations.
• Understanding of KYC Process for Investor Onboarding and investor servicing.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good coordination, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• CA Inter, B. Com, M. Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in AIF, fund operations, fund administration, or investment management.
• Experience with private equity or credit funds will be an added advantage.
