Job Summary
MSG Hotels & Resorts, Sirsa is seeking a highly organized and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the property and ensure exceptional guest service standards. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all operational departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Guest Services while ensuring smooth coordination across teams and maintaining the brand standards of MSG Hotels & Resorts.
The role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and the ability to maintain high-quality hospitality services while optimizing efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Operations Management
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the hotel/resort.
- Ensure smooth coordination between all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance.
- Monitor operational workflows to ensure efficiency and service excellence.
2. Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Ensure a high standard of guest hospitality and service delivery.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or operational issues promptly.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
3. Staff Management & Leadership
- Supervise department supervisors and operational staff.
- Conduct team meetings and ensure proper staff coordination.
- Train and mentor staff on service standards, hospitality etiquette, and operational procedures.
4. Department Coordination
- Work closely with the Front Office for reservations and guest handling.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and room readiness.
- Ensure smooth operations of Food & Beverage services including restaurant and banquet operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for infrastructure and equipment upkeep.
5. Facility & Infrastructure Management
- Ensure the property infrastructure, rooms, and public areas are maintained properly.
- Supervise maintenance schedules and vendor services.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across the property.
6. Financial & Operational Efficiency
- Monitor operational expenses and optimize cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Assist management in achieving revenue and operational targets.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with hospitality industry standards and company policies.
- Maintain health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Ensure staff follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
8. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track departmental performance and operational efficiency.
- Report operational updates and issues to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in hotel or resort operations.
- Experience in hospitality operations, guest services, and team management preferred.
- Prior experience in hotel or resort management roles will be an advantage.
