Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and sharp Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily execution—managing data, coordinating logistics, and negotiating with external vendors or partners. The ideal candidate is someone who is a quick thinker, highly organized, and possesses excellent people skills to get things done efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Execution: Oversee daily operational workflows, ensuring timelines are met and processes run smoothly.
• Data Management: Maintain, update, and analyze operational logs and trackers using Microsoft Excel.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Onboard, coordinate with, and manage relationships with vendors or service providers.
• Negotiation & Procurement: Use bargaining skills to secure the best rates, terms, and deals with vendors without compromising on quality.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a reliable point of contact, ensuring clear and prompt communication between internal teams and external partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Advanced Excel Skills: Must be comfortable handling data, creating reports, and using functions (like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas) to track metrics.
• Strong Persuasion & Convincing Abilities: Proven ability to influence decisions, pitch ideas, and convince external parties or stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent Bargaining/Negotiation Skills: A natural knack for cost optimization and handling vendor negotiations comfortably.
• Good Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Tamil is a major advantage for local operations).
• Geographic Constraint: Must reside within a 5 km radius of Nungambakkam to ensure prompt attendance and deep familiarity with the local area.
