Description Of Job Role And Responsibilities

  • Supplier Assessment: Conducts assessments to determine supplier suitability for ongoing and future needs.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Evaluates suppliers based on performance, reliability, and quality.
  • Vendor Development: Identifies and develops new vendors to expand the supplier base.
  • Product Development: Collaborates with product development teams to source materials and services.
  • Sending Enquiries & Obtaining Quotations: Initiates procurement by sending inquiries and collecting quotations.
  • Preparing Comparative Statements: Analyses quotations to evaluate cost differences, quality, and supplier reliability.
  • Negotiations: Engages in negotiations for favourable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • PO Preparation: Prepares Purchase Orders based on agreed terms and conditions.
  • Order Follow-Up: Monitors order progress and resolves issues to ensure timely delivery.


Qualification / Academic Background: BE (Mechanical Engineering)

Minimum 6 yrs relevant experience
