Job Title- National Sales Manager (NSM) – Affordable Housing Finance

Location- Head Office


Role Overview- National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth for the Affordable Housing Finance portfolio across India. The role involves developing national sales strategy, expanding distribution channels, managing regional sales teams, and ensuring sustainable portfolio growth while maintaining credit quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities


1. Business & Revenue Growth

· Drive national business targets for Affordable Home Loans (EWS/LIG/MIG segments)

· Achieve disbursement, sourcing, and profitability targets across geographies

· Monitor market trends, competition, and pricing strategies

2. Sales Strategy & Channel Development

· Design and implement national sales strategy aligned with company goals

· Build and scale distribution through DSAs, connectors, builders, referrals, and branch-led sourcing

· Identify new markets and growth corridors for affordable housing finance

3. Team Management & Leadership

· Lead, mentor, and manage Regional Sales Heads / Zonal Sales Managers / State Heads

· Set KPIs, review performance, and drive productivity of sales teams

· Build a strong sales culture focused on ethical selling and customer centricity

4. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination

· Work closely with Credit, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Collections to ensure smooth processing and disbursement

· Coordinate with HR for manpower planning and capability building

· Engage with external stakeholders including developers, housing boards, and local bodies

5. Portfolio Quality & Compliance

· Ensure adherence to company policies, NHB/RBI guidelines, and internal controls

· Balance growth with portfolio quality and delinquency management

· Support collections and early warning mechanisms where required

6. MIS, Reviews & Governance

· Review business MIS, pipeline, conversion ratios, and regional performance

· Present periodic updates to senior management / board committees

· Ensure audit compliance and process discipline across sales functions


Qualifications & Experience-

Qualification- MBA / Postgraduate in Management, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent. Relevant certifications in housing finance / retail lending preferred

Experience- 12–18 years of experience in Housing Finance / NBFC / HFC / Retail Lending. Minimum 5–7 years in senior sales leadership role managing multi-state or national teams. Prior experience in Affordable Housing Finance is mandatory.
