Node.js Developer

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and working in fast-paced Agile environments. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop high‑performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server‑side logic using Node.js and related frameworks.
• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, high‑quality, maintainable, and testable code.
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Implement security best practices and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and scalability.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and ES6+ concepts.
• Experience with Node frameworks such as:
• Express.js
• NestJS (optional)
• Koa.js (optional)
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with databases:
• NoSQL: MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis
• SQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and API authentication (JWT/OAuth2).

Tools & DevOps

• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Docker, containerized applications, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Testing & Quality

• Experience with testing frameworks:
• Mocha
• Jest
• Chai
• Supertest
• Knowledge of linting tools (ESLint) and code quality standards.
