Key responsibilities

Engineering & delivery

Build and deploy solutions using Adobe App Builder (serverless actions, extensions, integrations).

Develop backend services and APIs (commonly Node.js) to integrate Adobe services and enterprise systems.

Design event-driven integrations leveraging Adobe I/O capabilities (e.g., runtime actions, eventing patterns) where applicable.

Implement reusable components, shared libraries, and templates to accelerate delivery across use cases.

Produce clean, maintainable code with peer reviews, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD automation.

Architecture & integration

Collaborate with architects to translate requirements into technical designs, integration patterns, and deployment approaches.

Integrate with Adobe ecosystem capabilities Adobe I/O, IMS authentication, APIs, and extensions.

Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards (logging/monitoring, scalability, resiliency, and performance).

Security, quality, and operations

Apply secure development practices: secrets management, least privilege, OAuth/JWT flows as required, and secure API consumption.

Support non-functional requirements: observability (logs/metrics/traces), alerting, and runbooks.

Participate in release management, environment promotion, and production support (incident triage, root cause analysis).

Agile & stakeholder collaboration

Work in Agile delivery (scrum/kanban): estimate work, break down stories, and communicate progress and risks.

Participate in technical workshops, demos, and documentation handover.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience building solutions with Adobe App Builder (or strong Adobe I/O Runtime / serverless extension experience).

Strong JavaScript and Node.js development experience.

Experience building and consuming REST APIs, integrating with enterprise systems, and working with modern auth patterns.

CI/CD experience (e.g., Git-based workflows, automated testing, build and deployment pipelines).

Strong engineering hygiene: code reviews, testing strategy, documentation, and troubleshooting.
