NOC Engineer

A Day in Your Life at MKS: The NOC Engineer provides advanced troubleshooting and resolution for escalated incidents. This role involves deeper analysis, applying fixes or workarounds, and ensuring service restoration within SLA. This role requires working a 24/7 rotational shift. You Will Make an Impact By: Investigate and resolve incidents escalated by Level 1. Perform advanced diagnostics using logs, configurations, and scripts. Apply fixes or temporary workarounds to restore services. Escalate critical or widespread issues to Incident Manager. Collaborate with application, network, and infrastructure teams during major incidents. Document troubleshooting steps and resolution details. Contribute to knowledge base and SOP improvements. Skills You Bring: Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS and networking fundamentals. Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, Cloud computing. Experience with monitoring and ITSM tools. Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot application/service issues. Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python preferred). Good communication and problem-solving skills. Bachelor?s degree in IT/Computer Science. 3?6 years of experience in NOC or IT operations.
