Role Description The NOC Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The role involves monitoring network performance from the Network Operations Center, identifying incidents, and ensuring high availability of services across HFCL’s digital network infrastructure. The NOC Engineer will respond to alerts, perform initial diagnostics, coordinate escalation to relevant teams, and maintain accurate incident and change records. Responsibilities include providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders, implementing approved configuration changes, and assisting in maintaining network security controls. The role also requires regular reporting on network health, participating in shift operations, and contributing to continuous improvement of NOC processes and tools.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring and incident management.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration, including configuration, deployment, and maintenance of routing, switching, and wireless components.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Network Security, including basic understanding of firewalls, access controls, and secure network practices.
  • Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with common NOC tools and monitoring platforms, ticketing systems, and ITIL-based processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in rotating shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, Network+ or equivalent) and experience in telecom or large-scale network environments are advantageous.
