The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development technologies, including the whole Newsletter Website development including WordPress, and a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly websites for example Membership websites. Key Responsibilities: Front-End Development: Develop and maintain visually appealing and responsive websites. Optimize website performance for speed and SEO. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness. WordPress and Shopify Development: Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins. Create and manage WordPress websites, including content management and updates. Optimize WordPress sites for SEO and performance. Backend Development: Work with backend developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and databases. Ensure data integrity and security. Collaboration: Main tasks: Design, build, and maintain newsletter website to support marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts Work closely with future marketing, and content teams to translate creative concepts into functional web assets Creating an email newsletter involves strategy, design, content creation, and analysis in a team with content creator. Step 1: Strategy and Planning Step 2: Choose a solution similar to a Email Marketing Platform (means without external Email Marketing Platform) Step 3: Build and Manage Email Lists (environment/structure) Step 4: Plan and Design Newsletter? Step 5: Write Engaging Content Step 6: Test, Send, and Analyze Performance? Requirements: In-depth knowledge of WordPress and its core functionalities. Experience with version control systems (Git). Soft Skill for the remote team building (we are a startup): Communication: Working with future web developer, marketers, and content creator. Problem-Solving: Debugging rendering issues quickly. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in web development, ideally in a marketing or digital agency environment Ideally experience with newsletter website development Experience working with interactive content platforms Familiarity with web performance optimisation and SEO best practices Experience with marketing technology platforms (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce, Google Tag Manager) Experience with cross-browser and device testing Role Description: This is a full-time remote role for a Web Developer located in Chennai. The Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end. Day-to-day tasks include web design, and creating user-friendly websites.
