Role Description The News Reporter & Anchor at ASTRANOVA CONSULTANCY is a full-time, on-site role based in Bareilly. The role involves researching and reporting on election-related developments, campaign activities, and political news relevant to clients and stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include gathering information from field teams, conducting interviews, verifying facts, and preparing clear, engaging news scripts. The reporter will anchor news segments, present updates on camera or in front of live audiences, and adapt content for internal briefings and digital platforms. Collaboration with campaign strategists, media teams, and field staff is required to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent messaging.
Qualifications

• Strong Reporting and Journalism skills, including field reporting, interviewing, and fact-checking.
• Proficiency in News Writing and Writing, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging scripts.
• Experience drafting Press Releases and structured communication for media and public consumption.
• Confident on-camera presence with clear articulation and professional anchoring style.
• Excellent command of English and relevant regional languages (as applicable to Bareilly and surrounding areas).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple stories, and respond quickly to breaking news.
• Strong ethical judgment, accuracy in reporting, and respect for diverse audiences and viewpoints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in news reporting, anchoring, or political communication is an advantage.
