Job Description

Position- Network Test Automation Engineer (Linux Router)

Location-Pune

Experience- 5+ years


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Network Testing

Must-Have Skills

  • Solid Linux networking fundamentals: L2/L3, routing/forwarding, VLANs, NAT/firewall basics.
  • Hands-on with iptables/netfilter (nftables a plus), IGMP/igmpproxy, multicast flows.
  • VPN experience: WireGuard and/or tinc (peering, keys, routing, MTU).
  • Automation with XML-defined tests: comfortable reading/writing XML; XPath; reusable test steps.
  • Languages: Competent in C/C++ for tool upkeep; scripting (Bash and/or Python) for helpers.
  • Tools: Git, CI (e.g., Jenkins/Azure DevOps), issue trackers (Jira), documentation habits.
