Senior Network & Security Engineer . A Sr. Network Security Engineer is a member of managed security services practice for enterprise network security suppor. In addition to possessing deep technical knowledge, a Network Security Engineer interacts extensively with customers and partners using polite professional etiquette. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network security technologies and a strong understanding of modern security architectures including SASE, ZTNA, SSE, and SD-WAN. This role involves managing and optimizing network security infrastructure, responding to incidents, and contributing to the design of secure, scalable environments. Location, Chennai, India Sr. Network Security Engineer perform the following duties: Implement and manage next-gen network security technologies including SASE, ZTNA, SSE, and SD-WAN. Configure and optimize firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure network architectures. Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations, incidents, and change management. Use strong TCP/IP networking skills to perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems. Analyse and respond to security events from FWs, IDS, IPS, AV and other security data sources. Interface with a variety of customers in a polite, positive, and professional manner. Take responsibility for customer satisfaction and overall success of managed services. Respond in a timely manner (within documented SLA) to support tickets. Be available, ready, and able to promptly handle incoming support calls in support of our contractual customer SLA?s Document actions in tickets to effectively communicate information internally and to customers. Respond to needs and questions of customers concerning their access to network resources through their managed device. Adhere to policies, procedures, and security practices. Resolve problems independently and follow documented escalation procedures. Preferred: About 5 year experience in Networking & Security Preferred candidates will have one or more certifications in Security/Networking including Security+, CCNA, CCNP, or other security specific vendor/product certifications Education: Bachelor?s degree in Engineering / Technology -- Requirements Skills & Knowledge Requirements: Must have intermediate skills/knowledge in some of the following: Hands-on experience with SASE platforms and cloud-delivered security services. Implementation knowledge of ZTNA and zero trust frameworks. Familiarity with SSE components including CASB, SWG, and DLP. Experience deploying and managing SD-WAN solutions. Exposure to Netskope, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Juniper technologies. Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell). Understanding of NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and Zero Trust architectures Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS, Google
