Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Security Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Network Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network access controls. Daily responsibilities include monitoring network performance and security events, analyzing logs, responding to incidents, and applying security patches and configuration updates. The role involves conducting risk assessments and vulnerability scans, supporting audits and compliance requirements aligned with ISO 27001, and documenting network security policies, standards, and procedures. The Network Security Engineer will collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure integration, provide technical guidance to colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement of security controls and practices.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Administration, including routing, switching, load balancing, and network performance optimization.
• Proficiency in Network Security and Cybersecurity, covering firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and secure configuration management.
• Expertise in Information Security principles and frameworks, including risk management, access control, encryption, and security policy implementation.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network devices and security tools (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, SIEM platforms).
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or similar compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP Security, CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to troubleshoot complex network and security issues under time constraints.
