Hiring: Network Engineer | Bangalore (Whitefield)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to manage and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience in LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and network security to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, internet connectivity, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance, uptime, and security.
- Troubleshoot network, DNS, DHCP, routing, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network support and incidents.
- Maintain network documentation, IP inventory, and topology diagrams.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, backup connectivity, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor network utilization and generate performance reports.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching.
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, MikroTik, Aruba, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of Firewall, VPN, NAT, ACL, and network security concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or Nagios.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, virtualization, or cloud networking is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or related field.
- CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Sophos, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Network Administration, Infrastructure, or Network Support.
- Healthcare IT, PACS, RIS, DICOM networking, or Hospital IT Infrastructure experience is an added advantage.
