Network Engineer

2820 – Network Engineers - London

An opportunity has arisen for experienced Network Engineers to support a large-scale datacentre migration programme within a global, enterprise environment. This role will play a key part in delivering network deployment and migration activities across critical infrastructure. The positions are primarily remote, with occasional travel to a London site. Flexibility to support evening and weekend work during key cutover periods is required.

📍 Location: London (Remote with some site attendance when required)

🔁Contract Type: Contract, 6 Months, Immediate start

What you’ll do

• Support the delivery of network infrastructure within a datacentre migration programme
• Install, configure, and deploy network equipment across datacentre environments
• Participate in migration and cutover activities, including out-of-hours work where required
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues during deployment and transition phases
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth delivery
• Produce and maintain technical documentation to support implementation and handover

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer in project-led or migration environments
• Strong hands-on experience with network build, deployment, and installation
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, etc.)
• Experience working with Cisco networking technologies
• Experience supporting datacentre moves, migrations, or large-scale infrastructure programmes
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings/weekends during critical cutovers
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Experience within large enterprise or regulated environments
