Project Tenure: Long-term project Job Description: Preferred Qualifications: Strong organization skills and detail-oriented Excellent problem solving skills Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL Project coordination and management experience Experience with the following: Cisco OS, FW, Switches, Routers Palo Alto, FWs Cisco ACI F5 ? Responsibilities: Design and implement functional network infrastructure and systems using correct network diagrams and documentation Analyze and confirm the information demands and functional requirements in collaboration with internal and external customers Adopt network security measures after organizing, planning, and safeguarding data, software, and hardware Monitor network performance to identify necessary adjustments and improvements Cooperate with technology suppliers to offer business-focused solutions Provide technical leadership to teams working on deployment and support Ensure the stability of the working environment before, during, and after system updates Establish and maintain strong cross-functional working connections with corporate and local teams Resolve issues escalated by lower support tiers and provide support for those tiers as needed Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network security and efficiency Utilize online resources and documentation to gain knowledge about new or unfamiliar technology Collaborating with network architects to design and implement functional company networks. Installing and configuring networking hardware. Creating and implementing network security measures. Mentoring and guiding junior Network Engineering staff. Conducting regular network performance tests. Delegating networking maintenance tasks to junior staff. Dealing with escalated network support issues. Drawing up network status reports.
