Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Network Support Engineer (L2) to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments, troubleshooting network-related incidents, and maintaining stable and secure connectivity across infrastructure platforms.

This role requires strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, wireless technologies, and WAN connectivity, along with the ability to support operational and business-critical network environments.



Key Responsibilities

Network Operations & Support

  • Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise-level network infrastructure including:
  • Routers
  • Switches
  • Firewalls
  • VLANs
  • Wireless Access Points
  • Provide Level 2 (L2) support for network-related incidents, service requests, and escalations.
  • Diagnose and resolve connectivity, performance, and availability issues across LAN/WAN environments.


WAN & Connectivity Management

  • Support and maintain:
  • Site-to-site connectivity
  • IPVPN environments
  • MPLS network configurations
  • Work with routing protocols and ensure stable WAN communication between sites.
  • Assist in troubleshooting routing and communication issues impacting business operations.


SD-WAN & Security Support

  • Support and maintain SD-WAN configurations and connectivity concepts.
  • Assist in firewall policy implementation and network security best practices.
  • Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to ensure secure network operations.


Network Monitoring & Performance

  • Monitor network performance using tools such as:
  • SolarWinds
  • Other enterprise monitoring platforms
  • Analyse alerts, logs, and network events to proactively identify issues.
  • Ensure network uptime, performance optimization, and incident response within SLA timelines.


Documentation & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation for network configurations, incidents, and changes.
  • Coordinate with vendors, telecom providers, and internal IT teams during troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
  • Participate in planned maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Saudi National (Mandatory)
  • 2–4 years of experience in enterprise network support environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Network Engineering
  • Related technical field
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Routers and switches
  • Firewalls
  • VLAN configuration
  • Wireless networking
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Routing protocols
  • Site-to-site connectivity
  • MPLS
  • IPVPN technologies
  • Working knowledge of:
  • SD-WAN concepts and configurations
  • Network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.


Preferred

The following certifications will be considered an advantage:


  • Saudi Local Citizens
  • Cisco Certifications (CCNA / CCNP) Certifications
  • Fortinet Certifications (NSE) Certifications
